Q. How much does it cost for an office visit?
A. Typically a focused visit for a single complaint will cost about $75
for adults and $65 for children. However, complex visits for multiple
medical concerns, which take more time will cost more. Please go to our “Fee
for Services” section for more detailed information.
Q. Are labs
included in the cost of the visit?
A. Labs are a separate cost;
however since we are able to do most labs in the office we can pass the
savings on to our patients. We are also contracted with a conveniently
located local lab that has set up a fee schedule specific for our patients
at a substantial savings. (Please note that some labs are included with
routine and yearly physical exams, work related physicals, and pediatric

including specialist for various patient needs that are outside the scope of
our practice. We also make the calls personally in an attempt to find the
best provider for your needs as well as providers who are willing to work
with our patients who do not have insurance or have a limited ability to

A. We currently take cash or Visa, Master Card, and American Express
debit or credit cards.

bill with the appropriate codes which you can mail into your insurance

A. The average cost of an office visit to a family practice
clinic who takes insurance is $125.00. The average cost of a visit to our
office is $75.00.
Q. Will you be able to save me money on the cost
of labs I might need?
A. Since we are able to do most labs in the

arrangements at this time. Payment is expected at the time of service.
Those with High-Deductible Health Insurance
Use Your high-deductible
insurance only for major medical needs and visit Hope Family Medical for
most everything else.
Q. Do you take my medical insurance?
do not take medical insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, or Chip. However, we can
still save our patients who have medical insurance on the cost of their
medical care in our clinic. Please call our billing specialist to discuss
our unique savings plan for those who have insurance. If we are unable to
save you money on the cost of our services, we will gladly refer you to
other medical providers whom we trust to service your medical needs.
Q. How does your program work for those who have insurance?
Most insurance plans have an out of network benefit. They will allow you to
go to a medical provider of your choosing but will only reimburse that
provider or you at 80% of the reasonable and customary charges. Since we do
not collect co-pays upfront from our patients, you will save on the cost of
your office visit since the difference between the reimbursement at 80% is

Q. What if my insurance will not reimburse the cost of
A. Since all insurance companies have their own rules
and regulations, we will contact your insurance company directly to find out
what we need to do to expedite a reimbursement and/or how we can best
utilize the insurance you have to meet your needs.
If we are unable to
save you money on the cost of our services through your insurance carrier,
we will gladly refer you to other medical providers who take your insurance
and whom we trust to service your medical needs.
